Facebook Data Deletion

If you signed up using your Facebook account, you can request deletion of your Facebook data at any time through Facebook's data deletion process. When you initiate a deletion request from your Facebook account settings, Facebook sends a signed request to our data deletion callback endpoint. Upon receiving this request, we will delete the personal data we received from Facebook, including your name, profile picture, and email address, along with your Cocktails at Jay's account data. We will record the deletion request and provide a confirmation code that you can use to verify the status of your deletion on our Data Deletion Status page. This process complies with Facebook's data deletion requirements to protect your privacy.

Government & Law Enforcement Data Requests

We take your privacy seriously and have established policies and processes to handle requests from public authorities (including government agencies and law enforcement) for your personal data. The following outlines our approach:

a. Legality Review

Before responding to any request from a public authority, we conduct a careful review of the legality of the request. Each request is evaluated to ensure it is issued by an appropriate authority, is supported by valid legal process (such as a court order, subpoena, or warrant), and is legally binding on us. We do not comply with requests that lack proper legal authorization.

b. Challenging Unlawful Requests

Where we believe a request is unlawful, overly broad, or deficient in legal basis, we reserve the right to challenge the request in court or through other available legal means. We will seek to narrow or invalidate requests that we determine to be improper, and we will notify affected users where legally permitted to do so.

c. Data Minimization

When we are legally compelled to disclose user data, we disclose only the minimum amount of information necessary to comply with the legal request. We carefully review the scope of each request and narrow our response to provide only the specific data that is legally required, rather than disclosing broader user information.

d. Documentation

We maintain records of all requests received from public authorities, including: the nature of the request, the requesting authority and legal basis, the legal reasoning for our response, the specific data disclosed (if any), and the date of our response. These records are retained for a reasonable period to ensure transparency and accountability in our handling of government requests.

6. Security

We implement reasonable safeguards (encryption, secure servers, limited access) to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it.

8. International Users

If you access the Service outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where we operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, app notification, or by updating the "Effective Date" above.
